The banter was great but overall as a novella it’s hard to get into this dynamic and honestly the end weirded me out a bit??? Did like as they go progressively closer tho it was sweet

I like the two other books in the series more. I did feel the tension, and the story was fine, but I was left wanting *something* more at the end of the novella. More spicy moments? Any sort of indication of what the future holds? Rec the series, but this one was my least fave.

I loved this novella! I couldn’t get enough of Mara and Liam! My only disappointment was the ending seemed rushed. Otherwise, I loved it!

Short but sweet! Reminded me a bit of this spells love in terms of the humour. My first Ali Hazelwood and I enjoyed it, I felt I really got to know Mara quite well considering this is a novella and the romance was cute. The science girly in me understanding all the little jokes was an added bonus.

What's not to like? Combine a funny, smart woman, a sweet, sweet man, add in a little forced proximity, and a lot of chemistry to come up with a short but totally hot novella that fits in a reading challenge environmental prompt.
