Novellas are tricky because they donât have too many details and their starting point is usually the 30% mark of a regular book. When this one started, I wasnât sure if it was even going to flow because of HOW it started.
BIG HOWEVER!!! I loved everything about this one! Yall know I will ALWAYS eat up a book that has enemies to lovers, but mix that with grumpy x sunshine AND forced proximity?

Of course I loved the MMC, Mara because she was quirky and HILARIOUS!đ
And Iâm not gonna lie, I hated Liam in the first few chapters because he was unnecessarily rude. But obviously I came aroundđ„Ž
It wasnât AS spicy as a full-length AH book since there were a limited amount of pages and sooo much story put into 112 pages, but what we were given was satisfying enoughđ
My ONLY complaint is the same as everyone elseâs when reading a novella: that this absolutely 1000% shouldâve been a full length bookđ© I was having too good of a time for it to end that abruptlyđ

This was a cute, quick read. I loved the main characters and the storyline. My only gripe is that it ended so quickly!

Short, and very sweet. Watch before your eyes as girl meets boy. But in this case, girl walks into house she half-owns through inheritance (her old PhD supervisor) and meets Liam, the person who owns the other half.
Boy resents girl, girl resents boy. But they grow to love each other.

Como casi todos los libros de Ali, me enganchĂ© de una increĂble manera a esta historia. Es entretenida, corta, fĂĄcil de leer, con protagonistas a los que les puede agarrar cariño. El final lo sentĂ algo rĂĄpido y la verdad querĂa algunas mĂĄs escenas desarrollando un poco mĂĄs la historia.
