“Is this what this is? You like bringing me to my knees?”
Aaron Blackford is a legend for every reason I can name. Coming into this book, I was somewhat confused by the hype surrounding this man. Having read the book, I totally get it now. This man screams green flag in every aspect without even needing to murder people to make his girl happy. Not to mention how heartwarming some of his quotes are, which mind you are just adorable. Some of the things that he does for Lina is so envy-worthy as well: what kind of guy learns Spanish and blows off all of his money for this girl that allegedly hates him, just to have her think of him for just a few seconds each day?

“But so far, it was worth it because Aaron remained mine.”
Catalina is literally the embodiment of a female lead. I adore her attitude and fire throughout the book, and the amount of sass she possesses makes the book so much more hilarious in my opinion. As for her trust issues, I completely understand why they were implemented and I feel that the author did a great job at portraying Lina as a broken girl at heart while still making her fierce and self-aware. Her denial was also quite well written, coming from someone who hates miscommunication in books.

This is the woman I plan on spending the rest of my life with. I’m not planning on letting her go anytime soon.”
This book was so easy for me to read, and I believe that 500 pages within around a week was very unslump-worthy. The fluff and the humour was written so well and at times I found myself on the verge of laughter. Furthermore, the smut was amazingly put together and the characters were horny enough (in my opinion) without being unbearably cringy or embarrassing to read with. That being said, some of the lines during the spice scenes were questionable at best, but nothing to worry about too much. As for the plot, it isn’t “rich” per say but it is good enough to have highly developed characters in it. This story is a great summer read and overall I think I might consider rereading it someday for fun.

This book taught me a very important lesson: if he doesn't learn Spanish for me, I don't want him
