What I like about this book is more than its bright colours.
It actually teaches children the concept of subtraction, so if you're a teacher like me and you're looking for quick and easy warm up activities to introduce young children to the concept of subtraction, I would recommend this one.
It's vividly illustrated, there's a song and a talking animal, what more do you need to make an effective children's book? Not much, it turns out.
