Effie's inner monologue was authentic and I get that many plot points were setups for further storylines but seriously I don't think she's gone to a single class and Ruby's story makes no sense.

All'inizi oho fatto un po' fatica perché è passato qualche mese da quando ho letto il primo e sebbene ricordassi quasi tutto, ci sono stati dei momenti in cui avevo dei buchi che risultavano davvero importanti. Non sarebbe stato male avere un glossario o una sorta di recap a inizio libro.
In ogni caso ho adorato tutto il volume. Amo i personaggi, come interagiscono, i loro background e le loro personalità.
Effie è una protagonista fantastica, la sua innocenza è qualcosa da proteggere a tutti i costi.
Il mistero dietro la sua natura mi affascina tantissimo e sono curiosissima di saperne di più anche dei kitsune.
Per fortuna che la serie è già tutta su KU così posso iniziare subito il terzo.

I absolutely love Effie and how she is such a real character and has been through such hardships but with the right support system in her mates she is starting to see her worth.
I love how each and every guy is different and have their own hang ups and ways of showing their love and affection.
That ending killed me! So ready for the next book.

Oh Effie how I adore you!! Despite just finishing this book I cannot wait for more of Effie and her men! Her story is slowly unraveling and the heat is starting to build too! I love how M. Sinclair can write strong FMC’s who are still innocent, nothing about Effies naive nature annoys me because she doesn’t use it as a crutch! Effie is aware of upbringing and pushes past it to find her place in the world, we all struggle along the way with self doubt and Effie is just SO relatable that I cannot wait for more! More Effie, more men, more secrets being revealed!!
