Definitivamente Jennifer L. Armentrout se está transformando en una de mis escritoras preferidas, hasta el momento he amado cada uno de los libros que he leído de ella.
Obsession está situado en el mismo mundo de la saga Lux pero nos cuenta la historia de un Arum que hasta hace poco eran los 'malos' de la historia, pero ahora nos damos cuenta que no es TAN así...
Es definitivamente un libro para mayores de 18, pero con una historia de amor que me encantó *o*
Tuve la sorpresa de leer a Daemon por 2 lineas y me volví loca XD aunque no nos dijeran nada de el u.u
espero ver a a Hunter y Serena en "Origin" ayudando a Daemon a recuperar a Katy *-*

I loved this so much. I waa a bit apprehensive tbh afterall the arum are meant to the bad guys but Im glad we got some of their side of the story. I cant wait to find out what happens next

I can’t even Jennifer Armentrout. I freaking LOVE, LOVE her writing. I have realized I have read just about all her books, but somehow this one slipped through the cracks. It has been almost 4 years since I have read the Lux Series, and I found myself remembering its quirks throughout this book! We never heard about the Arum. They were the “bad guys”. THIS, this book was amazing!
I literally bulldozed through it, never wanting it to end.
Hunter, OHHHHH MYYY HUNTER! This book was so naughty, I was almost embarrassed reading it. I say that not because I am a prude, but because I was reading it while sitting on the couch…. With my husband….and nine-year-old daughter….having movie night…. #sorrynotsorry
Stick a fork in me, I am DONE At about 81% I was like ahhh here comes the withdrawal phase of the relationship, I knew that was coming. Slight disappointment in the cliché I-love-you-but-I-can’t-have-you mentality, but hey all parts leading up to it were well worth it.

Arum aren't all bad.
I loved getting another glimpse into the Liz world and seeing it from a different perspective. Hunter is your typical bad boy but when he is tasked with keeping Serena safe, he has no idea what he is in store for. Serena should be scared of Hunter, he is an alien after all, but it is clear the connection they have is stronger than their differences. Luc and his snarky self was an added bonus. This was a great spin off.

En algunos aspectos me gustó más que los libros de la saga Lux, pero creo que es porque estaba intrigada por ver el otro lado de la moneda y saber más sobre Sabrina y Hunter, puesto que ya los había leído en la saga Lux.
Además de que aquí sale Luc que honestamente es el único personaje por el que sigo leyendo los libros de este universo.
A diferencia de la saga Lux que no es tan explícita, Obsession sí es más explícita, si les desagrada leer libros con una gran carga sexual, esto no es para ustedes.

After reading the Lux series I was excited to get to this book. This book takes place in the same world as in the Lux series but instead of following the luxen, we get a peek into the world of the Arum. I also should mention that this book is most definitely NOT a YA book ;) Anyways, I must say I was a little disappointed in the book.
The characters
Serena:
I found it a little hard to connect with the main character Serena, just because it was (for me personally) hard to understand how she can after the loss of her best friend and her world being tossed upside down she can just think how she wants to get down and dirty with Hunter. I guess, I I would have liked a little bit more fear or realism from her, After all that she is going through and what is going on around her instead of her lusting after the guy. Something about her felt wrong.Serena's Character doesn't seem to have a lot of growth through the book. She seems the same at the end of the book as she was in the beginning even after all what she faced.
Hunter:
I liked him..... he was arrogant,funny sexy and can be very deadly, but than again he is a arum and that is what he is supposed to be, well at least the deadly part ;) Tho he has his moments of being a creeper. But he seemed to grow and change through the story.
Overall it is a fast read that has some pretty funny moments. But I thought it felt kind of rushed and there should be more to the story between the down and dirty parts . It is most definitely a "romance novel". Some were very steamy and well written and some were pretty cheesy.
Fans of the adult romance books might like it better.
