I’m just not here for details about teenagers having sex or masturbating.

Well, That Was Unexpected is PERFECT!!!

Well written. I love how the author touched on how double standards affect Young adults. I was pleasantly surprised how this book was actually funny. The scandal was revealed in a sort of Disney channel-esque way, but I appreciate that it wasn’t dragged out and was solved in a reasonable manner. 4/5⭐️s

Now this was a combination I was not expecting at all!

Imagine, you're a teenager, and your family walk in on you doing... You know what?!

So your families response is to go online dating and find you a girlfriend! For George, this is exactly what happens, when his father and younger sister catfish an online dating site pretending to be him...

Little did they know that they would meet the incredible Sharlot online, who is visiting the US for a holiday. The best bit is Sharlot is also being catfished, by her mother!

The awkward encounters as these two teens meet and attempt to navigate their "conversations" that neither of them had, and their even more awkward hobbies and interests which are far from the truth.

This is a cute, yet well written romance where you get to watch all the in's and outs, the arguments, the tension and the eventual moment where everything "clicks". It was a beautiful palette cleanser between some heavier books and to be honest, I will always pick up a Jesse Q. Sutanto book, she is just amaze!
