Really interesting read. I liked the focus on specific laws while still creating an overarching story of how we got here and what we need to do next. And it was funny, with a really zippy writing style that made it a quick read. Want to learn more especially about the death-while-committing-a-felony-murder law.

Mystal breaks down the laws he highlights in a super approachable and interesting way. I wish all of my law professors could explain legal concepts and cases like this. Truly think this is SUCH a good read. While he covers a lot of heavy topics, I didn’t come away from it feeling disheartened. This feels like a must read book.
