Everything a good chick lit should be, easy to read, a little cheesy, a little predictable, but filled with warm moments and relatable comic bursts. Perfect holiday reading.

My god, the main character is annoying! I tried to get into this as I needed some brain dead entertainment, but I just couldn't finish it.

This is a perfect book to cheer you up on a dark day, filled with light wit. It's very topical, with gentle mockery of things like clean-living trends, the genial chaos of family life and relationships in general...

This book had potential to be something good; multiple interesting plot lines, close family relations, etc.
But instead the main idea/genre of the novel was neglected. When I picked up this romance I expected to have just that and for the first 150/200 pages I read a great romance. However, when the "plot twist" with her family happened the romance and all previous character building was lost and not recovered later in the morning. The ending was rushed and only in the last few pages was the romance referenced to.
Finally, the epilogue was a waste as it didn't explain a future that related well to the previous conclusion. The story would of been better without including it.
