My husband gave me this to read as I love everything Egyptian and, I enjoyed Wyrd Sisters.
The storytelling was well executed. No bland bits or dribble. I didn't read a few of the subtexts as they were too long and I just wanted to read the story.
I don't want to give anything away but, toward the end when it was all coming to a head... too funny. Just sooo funny.

Teppic is a great character, and Pratchett is in his element here with nerdy wordplay and his trademark playground of religion, philosophy, physics, belief and reality. Not in my top tier of Discworld books, but a strong entry.

Highlights are the genius camel, the pyramid maker's sons, and the gathering of undead kings.
