My favorite Discworld book of the first eight in the series! This was a well-rounded story that felt kind of like a Disney movie, had a great cast of characters, and was mostly devoid of the weird, confusing tangents common in other early Discworld novels.

While I don’t think this is one of pratchetts master works it’s a very funny book with a lot of action in the second half, the new audio recording brought a lot of life to it!
Though not my favourite of the Discworld books I've read so far, this was still immensely enjoyable. It presented a new sort of setting, built upon some existing lore, and introduced a set of new and interesting characters.

Another book in my Discworld in publication order reread. Or relisten actually. As usual I've read this book before and this time I had some real recollections of it. Here Pratchett is getting to his peak form and thus this is a hilarious book touching upon Religion vs Science, Politics vs Economy, tradition vs free will. But of course peppered with Prachet's witty dialog and crazy yet funny situations
Also the narrator Nigel Planer does a very good job
