there's a lot going on in this book.

The book jumped around between characters and storylines without sense, and there were pages of literal rubbish as if the author wanted to add some more pages...
not impressed.
I'm aware this is supposedly a writing style but honestly it felt like he was trying WAY too hard to be different and weird with no actual useful effect on the book

Was a bit disappointed with this one, didn't think it was one of his best. However, did like the mummies and "tortoise lollies"!!

Classic Pratchett, slightly slow paced and didn’t find any great appeal or attachment to any of the characters, but Pratchett’s enduring wit and pun made it fairly enjoyable nonetheless

The absolute highlight of this book is the largely irrelevant side gag about the war between Fantasy Athens and Fantasy Rome.

Also I genuinely really like Teppic and am sad he apparently doesn't show up in any of the other novels.
