I found the first half a bit of a drag but enjoyed how it picked up in the second. I don’t love the main characters—I feel like I’ve read the Violet/Xaden relationship (and the same exact characters) in a dozen other books but I’m enjoying the world. Definitely intrigued to see what happens in the next book.

I cannot describe the anger I feel for this book the more I think about it the angrier I get it only gets three stars because I still couldn’t put it down but I’m MAD

I did enjoy this but the end got a little convoluted and the timing of some of the spicy scenes had me absolutely hollering.
