I haven't found myself yelling and fist pumping a book in I don't know how long but man! This book had me yelling in excitement and then crying. The ending was crazy but not so crazy that I'm scared to read Onyx Storm before the rest of the series come out!

Iba a escribir una reseña larga con todo lo que me disgustó de este puto libro de mierda, pero honestamente no lo vale. Decepción es poco, me siento genuinamente insultado por esta cosa.
Vete a la verga Rebbeca Yarros, vete a escribir tus putos libros porno con romance de secundaria que seguramente eso si se te da bien. Hasta mi prima de 6 años cuando juega con sus muñecos crea un mundo de fantasía 10000 veces más interesante y desarrollado que lo que se supone que sea esto. Chinguen a su madre todos.

I’ll be honest…I liked this book, I’m not sure why everyone else was pooping on it. The fight scenes? Ate. Violence was Violencing in this book and I continued to eat it up. It was more on the political side this time around and I feel like the tension between Xaden and Violet dimmed a little for me, but don’t get me wrong I still enjoyed their chemistry. Their little squabble was a bit annoying and made me really aggravated with Violet and then aggravated with Xaden and then back and forth until about 75% in. I also felt my good sis Violet wasn’t standing on business enough with Xaden at first, like girl STAND UP, but then again idk if I would be able to stand up when it comes to Lieutenant Riorson so I rest my case. Also don’t be mad at me…I fw Dain, I’m sorry

I enjoyed the book and the ending, but it wasn't as good as the first book. I thought Violet was a bit obnoxious in this book. I could have done without her and Xaden squabbling about stupid sh*t
A page turner like the first but the plot kept bugging me.
