It was fine, but I really can't get behind a reverse haram where they all end up together happily after in today's society and people don't think it's weird.

Wasn’t my fave Elle Kennedy and I think it was purely because I didn’t really like Charlotte ‘Charlie’ and it was all very repetitive.
It was okay, I enjoyed it

I think that part of the problem this book had was that everyone came in with expectations. We were introduced to Will already, and we know a bit of his backstory. Because of that, people made decisions about how they thought this story should go. Elle Kennedy played into that, teasing the possibility of a poly relationship. Except the only part of the relationship we knew about was between Will and Beckett.
Imagine spending a book subtlety introducing a character and their backstory and then writing a book that felt like it didn’t do justice to them. That’s how a lot of people feel about this book.
Let’s address the elephant in the room. This book should have been MMF. Will and Beckett clearly had an emotional connection and could have grown into a physical connection. Instead, an FMC we didn’t know we introduced as a bridge between them. Beyond that though, the relationships felt stilted. The third act conflict was, to say the least, unnecessary and drew out an already unnecessarily long book. I honestly thought the book might end with a traditional couple.
The number of side plots really played into the length, and led to a book that honestly dragged. Other people have said this - this book did not feel like a normal Elle Kennedy book. The pacing was strange, and the arch left me wanting. It won’t keep me from auto-buying in the future, but I definitely wanted more from this story.

Way too predictable early on coupled with way too much sex and smut. Just not my style.
