i have so many thoughts on this book it's actually exhausting so i'm gonna hit my usual bullet points
1. if i was unsure elle kennedy was a 40 year old woman, this book solidified it
1a. a mint green dress, smoky eye, and red lipstick first off is atrocious period but to a RAVEEEEE?? i actually screamed. and her wearing a sweater dress with leggings let alone to a lab
1b. just the fact that the whole concept is a girl who is a "perfect" sorority girl with good grades by day and a girl who likes to fuck by night like babe i'm sorry you missed the memo but regular people who like to fuck exist!!! this is no revolutionary by any means. like it's giving baby's first woke thought.
2. honestly similar to point 1b the concept of a girl wanting to fuck 2 dudes is also not a revolutionary concept esp in a post "pucking around" world. like if you haven't read that then fine this might be a good intro but since i read this after that it just rlly doesn't hit as hard. with this point and 1b i rlly think this book would've done numbers in the late 2000s-mid 2010s and hit how she wanted it too but unforch elle kennedy missed the memo that we already realized all of this.
3. overall lazy writing. this clearly wasn't proof read by ANYONE in a sorority but especially anyone in a northern sorority. i'm not even gonna bother listing everything wrong because this would turn into an essay. but on top of this everything felt kind of thrown away at the end like the whole adopted issues/trauma and everything with her brother and the whole polyamorous relationship stuff. like YOUUU decided to write this umptillion page book and you couldn't even finish it off well it was a waste of 500 something pages. quite frankly no romance book should even be over 400 pages and that's generous
4. the use of the phrase, and i quote, "perfect tiny asshole"...
i rest my case. idek why i bothered reading this ive hated everything ive read by elle kennedy this is my fault atp i set myself up. i could've finished this faster but honestly it was so dumb it kind of put my into a slump. maybe i should give this book 1 star.
edit:
also will and beckett being totally straight after this felt like a total cop out. at least pucking around had the guts to make them bi

So far, I have read the Off-Campus series, the Briar U Series and am now in the Campus Diary series. In this Current Series I really liked the first and second book, however I was a bit disappointed and not because of the MFM trope, I was very excited about that.
I understand that as a college student there is always a lot of things going around, but in this case it felt like something were rushed. One of these example was the connection between the characters , since the romantic leads are 3 that requires more time which we didn't get. Their relationship felt at time a little flat.

2.5
This one was just meh for me. It’s not a trope that I normally would’ve chosen to read (but wanted to for the sake of the series) so I realize that definitely impacted my enjoyment of it as a whole.
As far as the relationship, I really didn’t see a lot of connection and growth aside from sexually. I liked the friendship between the boys and the change we saw in Beckett as we learned more about him. I liked Will in the previous books and wish there had been more of him in this one. Honestly I felt like he wasn't even a main character and very involved in the relationship. I really was not a fan of the "twist" that came later either, which affected me being able to enjoy the end.
