Wow. What utter crap. Literally.

Giraud's art is fluid and marvelous as usual, but it's a damn pity to see it wasted on shit like this.

The rating is for the 'writing'. Five stars for the art ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

An egotistical philosophy professor gets sucked into a bizarre religious experience that has enough sex and explosions to make even Michael Bay happy. Since it takes place during the 1980's on Earth, Moebius was not able to go completely crazy with the art like his SF comics. Don't carry this book in areas with a strong, righteous Christian population, you may be burned at the stake as heretic. One strange read.

of the many miracles depicted in this book, the most astounding to me is that i somehow managed to finish reading it. altogether much too droll for a story that treats its female characters like lunatic spiritual rape magnets.
