This could very well have been a 5/5 if it were a bit longer (around a hundred more pages I reckon). That extra length would have, imo, given some of the side characters more room to grow and develop. As it is, there are certain characters who feel a bit flat. Still a great read though.

There is no amount of persuasion that could get me to read this again.
Bumped up to 2 stars because Captain Wentworth's letter and confession hit me right in my romantic heart. But I could not get into the rest of the story or the characters, just wasn't for me.
