I liked this a lot. I read it for fun and haven’t done any scholarly research on it, so excuse any inaccurate or ignorant interpretations lol. I really dug the characters and plot. I found the language and phonics stuff pretty interesting. I was surprised this was such a pleasant read. 
The version I read (not actually the version I’m reviewing, I think, but I couldn’t find mine and gave up searching) had a loooong exposition at the end. I thought it was a drag and really took me out of the story, but upon further research, I think it was a later addition, and not actually part of the play. 
I found Shaw’s take on wealth and class to be simplistic and a bit ridiculous, but it read as irony to me, so I didn’t hate it. The bit where Mr. Doolittle explained how he wouldn’t squander his money by saving it made me laugh, and honestly felt pretty realistic to me.
