Everyone should read this book

Arggghhhhh!!! This was so good for so much of the way through, then it completely falls apart. I loved the story, especially the chapters narrated by Little Bee. (I would love a whole book of her doing movie reviews.) Good story, good main characters, well written, but it's all undone by the ridiculous last chapter and the dopiest ending. Really dumb ending that unfortunately takes it into "Yay, white people!" territory. This book deserved better than that dumb ending. Ugh.

I'd give this book 2.5 stars. I just don't get the hype about this book. I liked Little Bee's voice but didn't care for Sarah's.

Haunting, unforgettable, vivid and can't put it down-readable. I'm only conflicted about telling everyone to run out and buy it because it was disturbing in a Lovely Bones/Kite Runner way.

The best book I have ever read

The book was very captivating but I disliked the ending. I felt that it was too open-ended atleast for the liking. The authors style was really great and I felt myself hanging on every word and reading for longer than I originally intended. However, I had still not felt completely fullfilled after finishing the book.

Wow! What a great book. I highly recommend it.
medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Entertaining enough... A bit depressing. Unimpressed by the ending.

Incredibly addictive. Although the ending seems a little abrupt, it also seems very appropriate. I appreciate the subject matter and that is why I did just like the mass of reviews told me to... talk about it with all my friends and pass it on.
