Valitettavasti viimeinen tässä sarjassa. Eemelin metkuja olisi mieluusti lukenut vielä enemmän. Ajaton tarina toimii mainiosti vielä nyt 2020-luvulla. Ei siis suotta klassikko!

I picked up this book for the Summer Olympics readathon that I am doing. I needed a book that had a tie to Sweden and was about animals. This one fit the bill. In this book we met Emil who is very adventurous and often getting himself in trouble. When he adopts a pig, things only get more exciting. I laughed out loud at the part about a dancing pig. This book was written by the same author Pippi Longstocking, so if you enjoy those books you will probably enjoy this one as well.

Inte uppenbart märkt av sin tid på något ställe, i övrigt samma tankar som för den första och andra boken!

This story reminded me of a something that might have been written by a Swedish Roald Dahl, with children outwitting adults and saving the day in a series of outrageous situations.

I picked up this book because I wanted to read something funny and sweet and it was that, but not only. The last chapter was a lot more than I expected, it showed how brave, responsible, sweet-hearted Emil really is.
