Knocked that whole thing out in a day (since I haven't gone to sleep yet, it's still the same day to me). Keplinger has a really easy-to-read writing style. I hope there's more to come!

This book was a very quick and easy read. I liked the format of the book and that some of the dialogue took place through instant messaging. That being said, this book fell a little flat for me. While I enjoyed it, Sonny was not a very likable character and was willing to hurt those helping her for her own selfish reasons. I also was not a fan of the ending as it didn't necessarily clear anything up. I feel like there were too many loose ends with this book and I was hoping for it to be a little better.

It's really 3 stars but it merits the fourth for mentioning Konstantine and Something Corporate on the second to last page.

This book was pretty good. I didn't find it insanely fantastic but it wasn't bad either it was just okay. It was definitely original but I thought that a few more pages at the end could be good. Also, I watched the movie The Duff but I didn't read the book. I think if I had read the book I would have enjoyed it more. Overall not a bad book.

I loved The DUFF so I was pretty excited to read this book. While this book started out pretty well there was a point that I was starting to not like it. Sonny, the main character was my big problem. She is a compulsive liar and seeing that everything that she would do would always make everything worse was getting me pretty mad, especially after what she did to her best friend Amy. Basically the book talks about Sonny who ends up falling for Ryder Cross, the boy she hated in the beginning and thinks that he’s talking to Amy and not Sonny. While I understand her change of feelings I still can’t understand why she did what she did. There were some parts that I was actually enjoying the book but then that Sonny handled every situation was always making starting disliking it again. I also had a few problems with Amy and Ryder but I liked them a little bit more than Sonny. And I understand that she had a difficult life and was practically homeless but I just couldn’t like her personality. I actually loved Sonny and Amy’s friendship and it was pretty cool until Sonny messed everything because she was only thinking about herself. But the best thing about this book: Wesley and Bianca were on it. I loved them in The DUFF so I was happy to read about their lives again. The book itself was actually good and I liked the story that was created. Another thing I liked was the ending of the book. I liked how Sonny started handling the situation and tried to be honest. And that ending… I loved how it was left open and you can try to figure out what happens next.
While I didn’t like this book as much as The DUFF it was still an enjoyable read. My main problem was basically Sonny and her lies. I would recommend this book if you are interested on it and if you like light YA novels.

I liked that it related back to the duff, only this time it was about Wesley’s younger sister, Amy and her best friend, Sonny. I liked that you got to see how their parents return (in the Duff, Bianca encouraged Wesley to talk to them) and create a life they were missing with their children. They also added an encounter with characters from another book, which was kinda weird, but cool if you got the reference. I read this book quickly, but I can’t really say I enjoyed it. I hate Sonny. She’s a pathological liar and lies in almost every aspect of her life. Then she acts surprised when her lies catch up to her. If you lie, it will almost always catch up to you and your actions will have consequences. I’ll admit, she’s had a tough life with a dad in prison and a mom who abandons her, but why can’t she be honest to her best friend who she’s living with. Not to mention, Amy let’s her supposed best friend walk all over her and takes advantage of her constantly. Based on what happened in this book, I wouldn’t have accepted Sonny’s apology and moved on, like both characters do, I would’ve been over her shit. Based on how this story is written, I would’ve liked the ending better if Sonny had to deal with her actions and didn’t get her best friend and the boy she wanted. She should end up miserable (sorry if that’s a little too harsh). It’s a companion to the duff, but that’s somewhat a stretch and it definitely doesn’t compare at all.

This book didn't grasp my attention and I felt like the storyline was lacking. It needed to be more in-depth for me to stay interested in what was happening. The character's dialogue was good and the previous characters in the other books made a slight appearance but the book overall had a mediocre storyline and didn't really keep me entertained.

I hated this book. Like really bad. After reading The Duff, I thought this book would be much better. I was wrong. While The Duff is entertaining,this book was not. I felt like the three main characters were boring and dull. Sonny was irritating and selfish, Ryder was a jackass and not all that and Amy was just there.
I wasn't feeling the romance between Sonny and Ryder. I mean Sonny was really desperate for Ryder's attention and that made her even more unlikable for me. I found myself bored with the book and I kept wishing that I will be done with this book quick. I did felt bad for Sonny and her home life but that didn't made it easy for me to like her. I really wished this book was in Amy's POV and with a whole new storyline. And have a different best friend and different love interest. Also the ending was terrible. Like what the hell?
In Conclusion, I found this book really terrible and boring. I didn't like The Duff but that book was way better and more entertaining. So I advise you to read that then this.
