I'm shocked the average rating is so low for this. Who killed the Watcher, and why, and its ramifications are so fantastic. This is one of my favorite Marvel crossover events.

Marvel have been looking for a way to retire Nick Fury so his replacement is closer aligned to his cinematic equivalent for some time, but this is one hell of a weird way to do that. Apart from my qualms about how they use Fury’s character here, I do like how you can almost see how Aaron wrote this: do something with the Watcher, think about eyes, think about characters missing eyes, think about other eye based things - if thine eye offends thee etc etc - and then turn all these into a plot. It’s certainly the least frantic Marvel event book I’ve read, with the plot thought out and clearly planned (even if it’s a bit odd at times to have, say, Dr Strange and the Punisher working together) and never rushed around the penultimate issue like so many of these things often are. I’m still in two minds about it, but when it’s great it’s absolutely great

eh?

I forget why I had this on my to-read list. But hey, I like comics! and my library system had it, so....

The problem i found is that I didn't freaking care about anyone. And the story was just bland. So yeah.

Underwhelmed.

Original Sin is a very big event where everything interesting happens in other books. That’s true of plenty of big events but to compare it though Civil War II and Secret Empire were both much more entertaining than this.

And while the art isn’t bad there is something off about it, it’s very stylized and it works for some characters but not so much on others. It gets the job done though.

This collection includes Original Sin and Original Sins.

I found the Original Sins off shoots to be much more interesting than the main event which is the Nick Fury show but I found confusing because it jumps around a bit but it should be noted I was bored with this event and I usually love Jason Aaron.

2 stars.

I enjoyed this up until it got stupid. Nice art, good idea, bad execution. Once again I fell for sensationalism, pretty covers and cool ideas. Either this went on too long or Aaron just gave up. The last two issues felt melodramatic and anticlimactic. Also...what the hell?

Still not entirely sure how I feel about this one. It was far better than a majority of recent Marvel events, but that ending was a face palmer.

(And whatever was said to Thor had better be DAMN good to make him suddenly unworthy of lifting Mjolnir.)

RIP, Uatu. I really enjoyed your weird bald self, and still subscribe to the theory that you are alive and well in the Marvel cinematic universe as Stan Lee.

Not the strongest Marvel storyline, but still interesting for the characters involved.

Não é ruim como dizem as reviews mais negativas, mas também está longe de ser o melhor trabalho do Jason Aaron...
