Wow. I consumed this book in one sitting. Not one day, one sitting. I sat down and was gripped by every interaction presented, one carrying me to the next and compounding the heavy feelings dredged up from the previous snapshot.
I felt so many things reading this. Even with the language and writing style, I felt everything so strongly. Because it is largely presented by dialogue interactions, it's mostly telling and not showing. Yet, in this instance, it doesn't matter. It hurts almost all the same.
Beautiful. I've never wanted to live life more richly after watching so many other people work through processing their own mortality, and I with them.
Favorite chapters: Homage to Ellie, You Must Give Up Hope for a Better Understanding, and Thank you Molly, as well as how that chapter played into the one following.
