Was gonna rate this slightly lower until they got his ass at the end thank goodness! Love this storytelling

But ugh Will Trent. My heart is so sad for him. But I like Faith & I hope they become friends I’m excited to see where that goes. & I hate Angie & Will so I’m not excited to see how they invent new ways to be toxic going forward

I like the story and I love Will...but I'm not a fan of how Angie is being portrayed. Treating her as the slutty fiancé when she was an important character in the 1st book despite her sexual appetite is a pretty big downgrade.

I really like the characters in this series and thought the first book was exceptional but this book pissed me off. I still enjoyed reading it but there were several times throughout the book that Slaughter held back information (witnesses didn't give crucial information for seemingly no reason). That artificial pacing made the timeline seem somewhat contrived and the characters unrealistic. Pretty Girls is still my favorite Slaughter book but I will keep reading this series.
