Incredible read
I fell in love with the story of Fred and Josephine. She is neurodivergent and writes the most amazing music. I thought Fred was going to be a good guy and boy what a story development. No spoilers here but oh my gosh what a read. I cannot wait for his third book

I loved this musical mystery. The duel timelines. All that is at stake with identity, legacy, genius and intellectual property.
I loved that a fictional composer was created for this story. It created a whole new world of possibilities. What is the story behind Fredrik Delaney? (Originally: Frederick and known as “Freddy” and yes that small detail is very important.)
This fictional composer is a musical genius, a legend. But, nobody knows how he wrote his music. Especially how he wrote everything from Broadway tunes to Operas in such a short period of time.
What was his secret? He must have one right? He is not the man he seems to be.
The answer is “amber in the speedway” and “a white torrent” it is “the orange in the black and green” …..
It’s how lovely Freddy goes from quicksilver to dull Fred who is more grey. A whole language of strange musical terms and symbols that don't make sense, until they do! This book captured my heart.
It’s what happens when.... "you rescue a dog from the street"....
This book was fantastic with insight into New York City in 1918 and the roaring 20’s! It was such a satisfying read that had so much musical depth, emotion and characters that I adored.
While I thought Violin Conspiracy was frustrating because the theft was so painfully obvious, this book was pure pleasure that kept me guessing!
