The Royal Cup : The Stranger :: Empire Strikes Back : A New Hope. This is the point in the series where the exposition, world building, and character development gel - creating a synergy that energizes the reader and propels the story forward. In short, things have just gotten good, and it will be interesting to see where this French manga takes us! Although one might be tempted to write this series off as merely Shonen, the blending of action, adventure, fantasy, martial arts, and romance give the narrative a depth that will appeal to fans of many different genres.

Resolución del concurso del primer tomo. La trama está guay y abre la historia a algo más. No es un tomo en el que pase mucha cosa, aunque empieza a dejar claro que Richard no es lo que parece. Las batallas son muy guays de leer y muy visuales. Ahora se verá hacia donde va la historia.

I picked the first volume up on a whim (and a desperate attempt to reach my 101 goal). I was surprised to find an enchanting fluidity in the illustration that matched perfectly with a story in which movements both big and minute have an impact on outcome. Superb line work and a mysterious world have me hooked.

Things are getting interesting! This one I liked more than the last because it also focused more on character interactions than just fighting. The ending really grabbed my attention and makes me look forward to the next book.
