This book is just the beginning of my financial wellness journey! Tiffany Aliche has such a distinct voice and after listening to a few episodes of the Brown Ambition podcast, it was as if I could hear Tiffany's voice as I read this book. Usually I don't like when books are too conversational but with finance being such a touchy topic it made it less stressful and more attainable.

What I loved most about the book is how Aliche spoke of her own financial wins and losses. This made the book very relatable especially for folks who think they can never regain financial stability. The steps in this book are really easy to follow plus the author offers templates and resources for each topic.

Aliche's work is heavily geared towards women so she addresses the reader as Sis but these tips and guidelines are for everyone. I legit plan to give this book out as a gift because everyone should experience financial wholeness!

While some of the info now seems elementary in my journey to learning all things personal finance, I wish I'd had this book earlier in my life. I appreciated the way the book was organized and the author's sincere desire to help educate her readers on financial literacy. This isn't my first personal finance read, but I still found myself learning nuggets and underlining good info. I could see this being helpful for readers in almost any decade of life, and I will recommend it to friends. I came across the author on Instagram first, so I knew I'd want to read her book once it was out.

i absolutely loved this book as a new college grad with crippling student debt and my first job. although i was a little discouraged when i realized somethings i should be able to do i can’t do yet, tiffany provided a plethora of ways to plan and not waste time. i read this on libby but will be purchasing so i can bookmark pages and refer to it physically as i continue to financially plan and upgrade my life. this book provide hope for my future and how heavily money is involved.

Excellent primer to get started! Of course as an ADHD person I wish there were more suggestions when “just do the thing” feels impossible.

But even so, it feels more doable than usual because it’s not about having to do one step before another. I love the emphasis on working on multiple fronts as needed!

An interesting introduction to budgeting, insurance, investing and more. This book was a gift for my sister in law but I read it when we were at my in-laws home. It was a clear, straightforward and interesting book with easy to dos and worksheets to help
