I highly recommend this book! Tiffany Aliche does an excellent job organizing the book and laying out a path to "becoming financially whole." She gives the reader concrete steps and has such a positive voice cheering you on the whole time. I can almost imagine her standing over my shoulder, celebrating my win as I automate my savings accounts.
If you're just getting started and know nothing more than you have a paycheck and need insurance, I recommend reading the following 3 books in this order:
1. On My Own Two Feet: A Modern Girl's Guide to Personal Finance by Manisha Thakor and Sharon Kedar
2. Get Good with Money: Ten Simple Steps to Becoming Financially Whole by Tiffany Aliche
3. The Simple Path to Wealth: Your road map to financial independence and a rich, free life by JL Collins
The first will give you the bare minimum of what you need to do and is a quick read. The second (Get Good with Money!) does a great job of comprehensively helping you set up a budget, dig out of debt, and raise your credit score, but it also delves into investments and estate planning toward the end. The last one advocates for aggressive saving and goes in depth into investments.

It's a real girlfriends guide to financial wholeness. The Budgetnista's personal and step by step style of writing makes these life changing concepts easy to navigate. The attention to detail, such as defining terminology and using humor to draw the reader from shame to victory makes this a must read. Grab your notebooks and get ready to do the chapter homework to reach your personal financial wholeness goals.

I have a notebook of notes from this book. I wish I would have had a book like this earlier in my life. This will be graduation gifts for my nieces and nephews.

Felt like I was reading things I already knew. Nothing new. Got bored.
