This was on my TBR for ages but none of the libraries I have access to had it, so I kept putting it off because there are plenty of other books I can check out. Finally bought it so I could complete a challenge on StoryGraph and wow was it worth it. Right up my alley, this one.

Was tempted to rate that higher, surprisingly good. The plot was better than expected ( I may have low standards) and I quite liked the romance.

Probably the best billionaire book I've ever read. I love a heroine who gives no shits about spending money. The femdom in this book was astounding. I didn't think there was any way this would live up to Mutually Beneficial but it easily does. I cannot wait for the next book Heather Guerre releases!

The perfect length

After a frustrating week of reading things that were too short to develop real emotional investment or so long that they were bogged down with unnecessary details this was a breath of fresh air. Filled with feeling (although not enough to make me cry) this is a great spicy romance if you like a lady domme

After I read Demon Lover by Guerre, I found myself wanting to read another of theirs and was recommended Preferential Treatment as the next one to pick up.

I'm glad I did, Guerre has a knack of writing in a way that you can just sit down and read in one or two sessions and the book will be over before you know it. You get so easily drawn into the characters and the world that it's easy to get wrapped up in it.

Preferential Treatment is a femdom story which shows the way that billionaires should be treated, and their financial domination should be handled.

- femdom + simp billionaire ceo
- using billionaires money for good
- eager to please

I was kind of intrigued at how this book would end because of how odd the dynamic is. So 2/5 stars because I didn’t DNF. But so many parts of this felt like financial abuse even though it started out consensual. I don’t know man, it just felt all wrong

I honestly only read this because I liked the previous book in the series and A Seductive Cactus gave it 5⭐. Femdom? Contemporary Romance? Billionaire CEO? Transactional sex? This had all the makings of a book I'd hate. It was surprisingly cute. I agree it could have been longer, but it gave me the feels. That's all that matters.
