Did not love this one nearly as much as I loved Mutually Beneficial. BUT I am absolutely here for the vaguely lefty undertones.

I enjoyed the alternating POV and the smut was excellent. I’m not usually a big femme fan, but this felt like a fairly good introduction. I don’t know the scene well enough to judge how accurate.
The build of their relationship felt fairly natural (for a billlionaire hah) but the reason I dropped the points was the third act resolution lacked tension and was less mature than I expected from the characters how they had been up to that point.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. I am not usually one for femdom, but this was written very well and it probably helped that it was very soft femdom with just a little BDSM.
I liked that his need to submit and her preference for dominance were not explained by or tied to their trauma as so many books with kink seem to do.
I really liked their discussion around wealth and the absurdity of billionaires existing and how that shaped their relationship. I love me a spicy book that still has some depth even if that depth is in an intellectual discussion.
I loved the chess games and how they fell in love over their mutual brains and not just magic dick / pussy.
Overall very enjoyable with decent spice.

billionaire romance where she's the dom and convinces him to share his wealth>/spoiler>, picasso, i like it.
3.75⭐ Entertaining and well done dom/sub scenes. This is a decent Femdom story although it seemed too easy for her despite her lack of experience being a dom. Even though it was explained is seemed vague. Not a lot of beating around the bush to get to the point, though. Lots of corny-ish parts due to the social commentary that seemed morally conflicted but kind of made sense but still came up a little empty, maybe? Anyway, it was entertaining and a quick read. P.S. Bonding over chess was cute
