4.5⭐️
I loved this book. Simple as that. Femdom romances are my favorite things to read. I loved the dynamic between Mishka & Katya. I also loved that Mishka was a brat and really enjoyed & embraced his role in their relationship. This book was entirely about the romance & relationship between the two MCs which allowed us as the reader to be more invested. I suggest this to anyone a fan of Femdom relationship dynamics

Oh gosh, I really do love everything Heather Guerre has written. A fresh and exciting take on a billionaire employer/employee transactional relationship that turns into a sweet romance between two slightly broken people from impoverished backgrounds. I knew this was the billionaire romance for me when she got him to give money to a women's shelter rather than buying her a Maserati. And guess what, there's still plenty of money left to spoil her with fancy shoes and anything else she wants. A billionaire romance that acknowledges wealth disparity and the obscenity of the existence of the billionaire class? Be still my heart.

There's some very hot femdom (Mikhail is so very eager to please) and lots of heartachingly amusing humor in his bewilderment over his love feelings. Loved this book!

Decent workplace billionaire romance with a fem-dom. It was refreshing to read that the female employee had no unnecessary qualms about accepting money from the billionaire, even pointed to the wealth distribution with commentary on perils of capitalism.

I LOVED this book. I’ve had trouble relating to books with a power exchange before, but this one I understood. The FMC is smart and knows what she needs and deserves. The MMC actually listens. Some books just feel true, and this is one of those for me.

ARC recieved from author

A great read for anyone who liked Mutually Beneficial, that said, the story is very different despite the unconventional set up being similar.

I think the title is misleading as the arrangement between Mikhail and Kate had little to no impact or implications for her working for him, this is not a complaint, more a statement of fact, so anyone looking for something with more of a focus on work and the dynamic there you won't find it here.

I personally am not a big fan of billionaire romances, I find a lot of times the author goes overboard in trying to justify the characters interest and enjoyment of the billionaires wealth and power (usually this is done very insincerely). But Guerre is a great author and I didn't have any problems with how the disparity in their wealth was handled.

I think the subplot with Kate's family was great, just enough in there so it didn't overtake the narrative.

Femdom representation was amazing, I loved that Kate was just a natural and had a little experience of it before.

Overall I really enjoyed it and loved watching these characters fall in love.

This was my first billionaire romance, a genre I generally avoid on principal. I really enjoyed this book. Loved the femdom and how the worker/billionaire divide was handled, and felt like the length was just right. The FMC's situation/history was relatable, and the author introduces just enough of her family and friends circle to keep things grounded without going into the weeds. A solid read, recommend.
