the only reason i’m giving this book a 2-star rating is because i loved the fact that it’s written in single pov. other than that, i’ve got nothing. this book was just awful to read.

i don’t know to really explain how i feel. the female main character was a contradiction. it’s like we know she was strong but at the same time she was really weak.

i didn’t understand her dynamic with her boys at all. i didn’t see what it was that she saw in them. it’s not like they were nice to her—they were not. they were horrible people who did and said so many hurtful things to her. and while she did stand up for herself some, she always ended up being the loser.

the worst part is that even when the boys were saying awful things to her, all she could think about was how hot and horny she was for them. it was pathetic. it would be different if the author had given us reasons to like them but there was nothing likeable about them at all! they were allegedly hot and rich. that’s all there was to them.

another two things that that bothered me about fmc was her relationship with matteo. she went from wanting his attention, to not wanting his attention to wanting his attention. i was so confused. and second, apparently the heroine was only fifteen years old?! she was a whole ass child!

which could explain her immaturity. but also made her bit about being the wolf very very cringey.
