This book was not at all what I expected! The synopsis of this book is what drew me in. It's Paris, after all... the City of Love!
Now that I've finished it, three different parts stand out to me: Kat wanting her first professional byline; sexy times with her former flame Marko (pretty much as soon as she arrived!); and then an accident that befell one of Marko's family members.
Marko was possessive... and it could be said maybe "obsessive" too. He wanted to draw Kat in to his unique world of pleasure and pain, a world that Kat had never before experienced. Touch this book gingerly, because it is HOT!
Good writing --nothing outstanding-- not a series I would keep on reading.
