really loved the start of this book but then the whole demon, supernatural aspect kind of through me for a loop in a weird way. definitely found myself wanting to see it through, though. fun, fast read! don’t know if I’d continue the series, but I enjoyed it for what it was.

Its been a while since I've finished this book (I had to get the last couple of books in the series via Inter-island Library loan) and to this day, I vividly remember the Climax of this book. It was so good. "Its My Turn" 

All the books in the John Cleaver series are amazing, and THEY ALL HAVE ENDINGS. basically, the author knows how to write a well-contained book. The books don't end on cliffhangers, everything in the book is resolved in the book it is brought up. The MC hunts 'serial killers', so as long as 'serial killers' exist, the books can go on.  

I don't know if this book counts as a horror or not, cuz you don't feel fear when reading these books. They are thrillers.

I cried when

the serial killer

died. I loved him, he was so nice.

The 'Serial Killer' wasn't human, or rather, was no longer human. What the blessed/cursed are is not totally explained in the first book, but future books go into detail on that. The 'magic' in these books is really nice, and I love how the MC doesn't have any super powers.
