I read this while I was sick at home from work and playing Plablo. This was neat being able to get inside looks at these big companies. What would it be like to work in upper-management at one of these corporations. What does a person do all day? It kinda reminded me of [b:The Mormon Way of Doing Business: Leadership and Success Through Faith and Family|398162|The Mormon Way of Doing Business Leadership and Success Through Faith and Family|Jeff Benedict|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1387735201s/398162.jpg|387620]. I still don't know what they do all day besides projections and goals. Don't they get tired of that? Disney would be way different if their mission statement was to make children's films instead of bringing happiness to the world. Written more than 15 years ago, I wonder if the author would have added new companies if he wrote it today.

I feel like I should have paid the author just to listen to this because so much time and effort was put into finding every little fact and detail and report that they scrutinized about these 18-19 companies (some more than 100 years old). Very thorough book.
