Tremendo.

This was really good, actually! I've always liked the Turtles as a kid. Played the games, watched the cartoon (animated and live action), had some toys, but never got to reading the comics. This new take on their origin was super fun and way deeper and mature than I thought it would be. All that accompanied by great art makes me decide to give it 4/5 stars!

We all know how I feel about half stars (for anyone who’s new here: silly and unnecessary).
I just saw a rating for this book that’s 81%.
Now we’re talking about a 100-point rating scale.
That’s…how does one manage that? I wanna see that rubric.
Maybe that’s the gimmick? You rate it 81%, then everyone pays attention and argues with you about one or two points up or down?
Let me impart some advice: you don’t have to work that hard. Just constantly review stuff without talking about the book at all. Everyone gets pissed about that.

I like the art but somehow it's missing the charm from the original. I don't see myself finishing it

Pretty neat take on the Turtles. Wasn't really on board for the reincarnation angle or the short history of the brothers but it works out pretty well in the end. All in all a nice re-introduction to the world and the characters. Looking forward to continuing.

This version of the turtles is gritty and warm in every way you'd hope. They really do feel like kids, and the setting and more sci-fi spin reminds me of the 2003 TV series in the best way possible
