This was a spectacular second book to The Lies We Keep. Rylee just can't catch a break in life. Every time she tries to move on or make her life less stressful there is always something that drags her back. I do feel like the guys redeem themselves a bit in this book. Zayn is always the interesting one, you never know what he’s going to do next. Asher is trying to be honest with Rylee and himself for once. Blake is really trying to be there as a big brother and failing. Then there is the awesome relationship with Chuck, probably one of the more healthier ones. Will he continue be able to continue his relationship with Rylee? The end of filled with so much action but we are left wondering what state everyone is in. I can’t wait for book 3 and see how life plays out for these characters after that cliffhanger.
I personally love this series. Rylee always finds herself in some type of shit show.
Rylee and Chuck are getting along ok after leaving together Rylee gets a job but then Chuck tells her he has to return to the MC . When Rylee goes of for Phoebes wedding Asher turns up and tells her the reason he’s still with Jenny. She gets closer to Zayn and when Blake turns up at the bar she works in a tells her she’s in danger and he’s staying to protect her. I really enjoyed this book seeing Rylee get closer to her stepbrothers even though Blake’s holding back we all know he’s going to give in eventually.
The ending of this book was a giant cliffy!

This was an absolutely amazing read, be ready for all the feels and a huge cliffhanger. This is the second book in the series and it just keeps getting better. I can't wait to see what happens on book 3.
This series just keeps getting better and better! I honestly love how Steph writes her characters. Even though the guys are giving Rylee space, they still very much care about her well-being. Rylee is beginning to shine on her own, she's away from Asher, Zayn, and Blake. But will she continue to live how she deserves? Nope, someone is coming after her and she is most likely in more danger than she realizes. I like that she's got Chuck by her side, and I hope it remains true to what their relationship is and stays a positive thing for Rylee.

Holy hottness Batman! I had to fan myself a couple of times. Ugh how I love but hate Chuck. This book keeps you flipping pages like crazy. That cliffhanger…Steph…so cruel haha. If you haven’t picked up this series, wake up!
