This informational book details animals that Christopher Columbus and his crew might have seen on their voyage to the new world. Includes interesting facts about animals ranging from seabirds, to whales and manatees, to insects, fish, and reptiles. Although it has large, interesting pictures, it is for school age reading.

Interesting historical facts about Columbus's voyage are included as well. Good for using with Columbus Day activities.
