Not bad. At times exciting and fresh at other times indulgent and plodding. But overall a good quick read.

A book this honest could easily be taken as bleak and depressing, but Flynn weaves the story of his relationship with his father with the look towards redemption and hope that make this an amazing memoir.

Really excellent. Inventive and haunting. A couple of the forms within the book I didn't like so much... but it was very inventive throughout.

I'm not sure why I haven't heard of this book before I came across the enticing title in a used book shop. It's very well written, and intriguing.
The beginning of this book is fantastic. Flynn's words fly off the pages effortlessly. However, I felt like the ending was very sloppy. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, as stylistically speaking it fit well with the messy stream of events. Sort of like a collection of 500 word anecdotes, chronologically arranged, surrounding a common theme.
