Interesting and “cool” stuff particularly part 2 chap 1, but not an exciting or funny read

I think one of my main “problems” is that even tho the underground man is “relatable” and interesting on many of his topics, the novella is VERY russian centered, with so many references to other russian writers and philosophers, or with subtlety or metaphoes talking about the romantization of russia influenced by france yada yada

Goddamn the underground man is pathetic

Pt 2 chap 4-5 are very cool

Pt 2 chap 6 is boring af

Rest is boring

This book was like a session with a therapist a cynical therapist. It finally opened my eyes with things i already knew, but kept for myself. This book was like looking in the mirror and i am grateful for that. I cant even use words to describe it, all i can say is just f read it.
