At first it seemed like it would have at least a bit of useful information, but as it went on it just got a bit strange…
I didn’t like many of the descriptions of ADHD behavior (I thought they were a bit condescending) and I also felt that they “five relationship pillars” were a bit preachy. The examples they gave for implementing those pillars also seemed very contrived and unrealistic. I could overlook some of this if it was balanced with broad/strong ADHD context, advise, or strategies, but the farther I got in the book it was much more “this is the exact challenge you are/will face and here is the only solution” which I didn’t find useful.

Fantastic book. I love the collaborative language and realistic approaches to common issues. I wish this had been the first book I read when my husband was diagnosed.
