LMAO this is absolute trash and i want back the time i spent reading it. the way everyone jumps to conclusions and then assumes said conclusions are facts? also the way the characters are so fcking stupid? *insert mushu’s line: “You’re in a war, man!”*

some of the stupid things going on in this include:
- brother #1 says he’s king alone, probably not to let anyone know that the other two are kings yet. what does dareena do? spill to the next friendly face in elf land that they’re all mates. very good going.

- oh but then next she decides very cleverly not to say she’s part elf or some shit idk bc she’s not sure she can trust them. wtf???

- brother #3 comes to save #2 and dareena without a solid plan. has a golden opportunity to scope out the castle for possible escape routes. surely he doesn’t choose to spend that time having sex with dareena right? ding ding ding he does indeed and then laments the lack of time to come up with a good escape plan. BRO.

- dareena is pregnant but has no morning sickness or whatever. also brother #2 broke it to her bc he smelled it on her. apparently dareena doesn’t have periods or something bc she sure as fck didn’t know she was pregnant.

- so many time skips bc the authors didn’t care about making it make sense. like, brother #2 was worried about leaving dareena alone with evil elf prince guy and so we’re curious to see what happens next with them right? especially bc they were left in the middle of a tense scene. what do you know the next scene we have with dareena, we’re treated to her already a few days past that. go figure.

idk just save your time don’t read this.

A must read

Another great read by Jasmine and May! An exciting, spellbinding and breathtaking tale that will leave you desperate for the follow up! December can't arrive fast enough!

Everything was a bit too cutesy and convenient in this one. The character development was cut off completely. It was just kind of meh.
But it was a good, cute palate cleanser between all the dark fantasy and SciFi I've been reading lately.

This series begins very predictably if you know it's a reverse harem series going in, but if you stick with it, the plot thickens drastically for the beginning of the second book. Dragon shifters, political intrigue, and spicy romance await the reader in this fantasy trilogy. The author does a wonderful job of not fixing any conflicts in simple, predictable explanations. Everything is well thought out and strategically brilliant. It keeps the reader guessing all the way through!
