Ok book 3 begins right where book 2 ends.... I can not stress enough that this book is part of a series and it must be read in order.
Finley is really coming into her own and in The Evolution of Fae Gods we get to learn a little more about just what powers she posses. The Scooby Gang really rallies around her as the clock is really ticking down on the prophecy. I will say things are really beginning to heat up and more players are coming out to play. I did enjoy this instalment as we get more interactions between Carrick and Finley, but we also get to see a softer gentler side to him.
The ending left me with my jaw hanging open, but you will need to read that to figure out why....

Carrick is a strong man who looks like he can take on anything. Finley can always rely on him to be there. Fallon continues to appear. Don’t know who she is? She’s your reminder to start at the beginning of the series. Titus is another reminder.
This is a true series because each book builds on what came before and leaves you wanting more. It’s an adventure that keeps on giving. There are mysteries around every corner. Finley’s family plays into everything that’s going on – another reminder not to start the series here.
It feels like we get some answers to what’s going on but you turn around and there’s another question to take its place. In this story, Finley keeps trying to test her boundaries. She wants to take an active role in solving the mystery so that they can get an answer to the bigger picture.
This is a very creative series because the author has free reign as to what she wants in her world to be. Anything is possible because even though the setting may be familiar, everything else comes from Ms. Bennett. She shows that the lines blur between the paranormal and reality. You just never know who, or should I say what, you may walk by at any time. But after all that, the author still leaves us hanging one more time until her next book comes out.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
