I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.

Zoe Adams Zoe Adams is an audacious author exploring the layered ups and downs of love.
A passionate writer, she draws her inspiration from a variety of sources. Her admiration
for romance books, her understanding of human character, and her observing eye for
exciting scenarios are a few of them. But above all, her greatest writing gift is her bold,
unapologetic love for love itself.

“Never hesitate to go for what you want. No matter what it costs you.”

Tasha has grown up under her parent's thumb. Or, more accurately, her father's overbearing thumb and her mother's agreement. When a talented stranger flitters through her town, he awakens things inside of Tasha she didn’t know were there. But one thing he did- helped her realize she has a dream. A dream that doesn’t involve medical school or small-town life. And Tasha was finally ready to take that leap of faith.

I love Tasha’s character so much. I have loved this series from the first book, and this prequel is such an important peek into the foundation that built our leading lady.

I loved how intricately delicate this story was. It unfolded so gently, and the imagery was so artistic. The passion slowly ignites and builds into an inferno.

Zoe Adams has given us a glimpse behind the curtain of her beautiful series- and this novella is so essential to the creation of Tasha. We get to see why she is as tenacious and determined as she is.

Finding no support from her parents, Tasha knows she is really on her own. And she is more determined than ever to make it. Even though her situation is about as bad as it could be- she also knows she is about to start something new. Something magical.

Tasha is about to become a sensation.
