Cute romance and kind of exactly what I needed. Just a town of nice people helping someone out. The romance was good as well. I like that it's not necessarily insta love, but realizing you have a connection and deciding to persue it.

Was just really average. Maybe I'm burning myself out on small town romance.

Like a Hallmark movie only sexy

I received an ARC copy of this from the author via Social Butterfly PR in exchange for an honest review

My Thoughts
I completely devoured this book! From the moment I picked it up, I was completely hooked! This book had me absolutely swooning and laughing out loud.

I loved the small town setting! Melanie Harlow has such a knack for writing settings that feel so warm and inviting. This one was just as captivating as Cloverleigh Farms but wholly unique in feel. I also loved the snippets of Cloverleigh in here!

These main characters were everything. Not only was I completely smitten with Griffin, but Blair was charming and hilarious. I loved the dynamic between these characters and the tension between them everything. The chemistry between the MCs had me fanning myself on more than one occasion.

Not only were the main characters fantastic, but so were the side characters! There were so many side characters I loved them all. This book also did an amazing job at getting me excited for the upcoming books in this series! I'm completely obsessed with Griffin's friend group and want all their books right now!

Overall this book completely captured me and pulled me into this adorable, small town. I loved the main characters, their romance, and Melanie Harlow can write one hell of an amazing sex scene! This book was steamy, romantic, and full everything I love in romance! I can't wait to get my hands on Cole and Cheyenne's book!

5 Sweet As Pie Stars

Melanie Harlow is a new to me author and I am in love. Her writing is unputdownable and I loved every word. I cannot wait to read more from her.

This was cute. It made me smile, laugh and I even shed a tear. Lol

Took me a while to finish this book but I finally did! It was pretty cute. A little too…clean for me. Didn’t really keep my attention as much as I’d hoped.

Cute but a little bland...

This story all begins with pie. Blair just wants some of the advertised best apple pie, so she takes a detour....and ends up with a blown tire and wrecked car. In swoops sort of prince charming, who happens to be a mechanic. Forced into proximity because conveniently Blair is broke with nowhere to go, and so begins a spicy love affair.

Blair and Griffin were a cute couple with some good moments....buuuut this story was boring. Griffin got cranky too much and I feel like Blair took the blame a lot, and while Griffin did apologize...it was always a bit lack luster. I kept waiting for something to pull me back into the story; but this quick 2 week romance they had didn't really create that pull that sucks my whole interest in. This was a fairly typical romance that you find a dime a dozen.

Girl in distress ending up in a small-town and has a meet-cute with local sexy mechanic is not just something from a Hallmark movie; it’s straight out of Melanie Harlow’s Drive Me Wild. Blair runs away from her rich and high society family to try to make it on her own. While wearing a ballgown and tiara, she crashes her car in the town of Bellamy, where she meets Griffin, a hot mechanic who not only takes her car in, but her as well. It’s not exactly a “stuck together” trope, but hey - Griffin’s place is small enough for the two to get comfy and cozy and experience all the other “c’s” your brain can muster up.

The thing about small towns is that everyone knows you, the gossip runs rampant, and no one is more nosy than your own family: this is the case for Griffin. His mother, sister, and some endearing town-dwellers play instrumental roles in Griffin’s attraction to Blair. However, it’s not just her goal to live elsewhere that is an obstacle. What is about Griffin that makes him push her away?

This book is sizzling hot! You won't be disappointed!

It was a sweet story. Very…spicy hallmark?
