When I reviewed volume 1 I wrote that the first one was really slow and the art was not good and in the beginning it gives Legoshi a bad rep, but if you keep going it gets a lot better. And it did! this one addresses consequences for
Legoshi's fight and eating Louis leg
in the previous volume. Legoshi now has to go on his own and face the world outside of school. Here we meet the current Beastar, Yahya

A lighter volume compared to the previous intense volume 11 we had. It felt so short to me! Page length is the same but I tore through this one.

I am excited to see Legoshi's grandfather and learn more about him! Finally!! AND THE BEASTAR!

And this merino sheep character is super cute! I hope she will appear often in further volumes. The dynamic between her and Legoshi as complex-neighbors is very interesting already. Will she cause a barrier in Legoshi moving on from his meat withdrawals? Or will she help??

And rip Louis.... he's really struggling now.... I can see him and Juno perhaps being a thing, but perhaps not, Louis will likely fight her all the way.
