WOAHHHHH. The first book, being as amazing as it is, the second book continued the series wonderfully. The covers and titles are so pretty, and I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on Emerald Green.
I would personally give this 4.8 ish because it's not a 4 and not a 5. But, goodreads only does whole stars and not .8 of a star.

“Those who believe in coincidence have not understood the forces of destiny.”

Well, while Ruby Red, the first installment of the Precious Stone Trilogy was kind of long-drawned at the beginning, Sapphire Blue has been a roller-coaster!

So many things happens in this book, so that I can hardly believe that the events of Ruby Red and Sapphire Blue happens within a week!

First of all, I still like Gwen a lot. To my mind, she is a very strong characters, despite the fact that many people thing otherwise of her. She is sassy (I love her comments) and tries to get the needed information on her own. Yes, she is a 16 years old teenager and her relationship with our dear Gideon takes a bigger role in this book. Sadly, because of this she is distracted with her mission, sadly. However, she has Leslie (or Lesley) and Xemerius, who tells her one million times that she has to focus on the mission.

Gideon's character changes during Sapphire Blue. He's still the handsome de Villier guy, and his hot and cold behaviour towards Gwen has been annoying, but we see a better, friendly and lovely side of him.

As for the other characters, I still don't like Gwen's family (ugh, Charlotte) and I don't understand how an adult can say repeatedly "you stupid thing" ... poor Gwen.

More suspense, more mysteries, action and very funny moments. I don't have to say more :-)
