"Spirit Legacy by E.E. Holmes
I received this book in exchange for an honest review by the Author and the “Lovers of Paranormal” Group on Goodreads.com, Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

When I first read the description for this book, I thought it sounded interesting and hoped for the best. I was blown away and pleasantly surprised! This book is amazing!
The only reason I gave it four and not five stars (I would have given it four and a half), is because it started out slow, but once it got going the storyline drew me in! Also the character development was great with some characters, and others I was left wanting more!

E.E. Holmes did a beautiful job weaving the plot together and just when you thought you knew what was going to happen, bam, curveball! As the storyline unravels, it's like a jigsaw puzzle that isn't square. The suspense draws you in and keeps you guessing.

Jess is a very likable main character and easy to identify with on many levels. Her BFF, Tia, is (under developed), but very dedicated to Jess' cause. And what is that exactly? To discover Ethan's secret, and to figure out what's wrong with her, why can she see ghosts...

I eagerly await the next book in this series!

A little slow. A little dull in spots but not enough to keep me from reading the next in the series.

Read until my head ached, but WORTH IT!

This book held me so tightly I think I was staring at the pages until I got a migraine. Totally worth it, though, to read this wonderful tale! I love how the first few times Jess sees him, she doesn’t even know what she’s seeing. The slow build of one little detail at a time really sold it to me, and I will readily grab both the following books as soon as I get a chance!

Honestly, I don't understand all of the glowing reviews. It's an okay book, certainly not amazing. I will not be paying full price for the sequels for sure. It's good fluff for nights I couldn't concentrate on better books.

Spirit Legacy is a fluent and anticipating novel about a girl who begins to encounter spirits. And I lived it! The style of both writing and plot engaged me. My favorite character was Milo the spirit and I look forward to seeing more if him, Hannah, and Jess. I don't think I expected to absolutely adore this book, but by the end I can tell you that I did. Completely.
