If I could give this book 6 stars I would. I’ve loved Rome from the moment we met him during his relationship with Brey. Getting to fall even harder as we watched him love and live for Katalina was more than I could have ever asked. His story is breaking my heart already.

Shain rose is one of my favorite authors and the only thing I didn’t like about this book is that I read her books out of order without knowing (read shattered vows and corrupted chaos before this and it’s the same world/characters just later in time) and I could’ve met the characters through this book and know more history before their story.

Nah.
Man, I kinda hated this book. As a book that is part of a larger universe, it was terrible because the storylines were not consistent at all. As a stand-alone, it was just okay but the FMC was pretty unbearable. There was just a lot wrong with this book and it’s so frustrating.
